Alchemical Metals

Alchemical Metals
The Earth is the recipient of all heavenly influences that reach us in the form of polarized light. Slowly, these spiritual virtues, and these qualities materialize.
Because of its magnetic quality, the Earth fertilizes itself; it absorbs and materialize, in special mineral form, those spiritual rays of light. It all depends on the law of attraction and repulsion; “what was at the top, spiritual and very thin, turn into what is in low, heavy and body-formed”.
Where the ground of the Earth is more rich in Sulphur, metals are going to form the most; where the ground is more rich in salts, crystals are going to form the most. Everything depends on the natural proportions.
Working in the laboratory, it is easy for us to obtain the essential oil of plants but that it is not so easy to get the essential oil from metals.
Triturating a plants and extracting its dyeing, using ethyl alcohol, is, of course, very simple to do; but, taking a disk of hard metal, or one of its mineral, and getting from it a limpid and crystalline oil is not so simple.
Some scholars of the Hermetic Science describe several methods for obtaining the metallic oils, but these methods are purely chemical; they simply describe how you can dissolve metals in corrosive water; for example the “strong water” (nitric acid) or the “aqua regia” (a combination of nitric acid and muriatic acid), so then we can extract their oils through volatile solvents (e.g. ethyl alcohol, ether, etc.). These men do not know the simple way of nature, so losing themselves , together with their disciples, in labyrinths from which, then, they won't be able to get out because they do not know how or where to find, in nature, the fountain of abundance and its fermentative virtue: the metal leaven .
Therefore, they do not understand neither the formation nor the evolution of the metals in the womb of the earth, because only those who humbly know following the nature step by step, and only those who will throw away all their books will have recourse to their knowledge.
To extract the sulphurous oil of a metal is necessary “mortifying it”. It must go through the fermentation and putrefaction, which is also its dissolution and the separation of its Elements. Any kind of metal, even the pure gold, although incorruptible, when it is brought up to a total putrefaction, it should appear as a black earth, viscose and very smelly. At this point, to get its oil becomes very easy.
All metals, brought to melting point, are, to alchemists, dead metal, lifeless, because, passing through the fire violent, their spirit, vital principle participating in their evolution, is in part went away and in part remained enclosed within them. In Alchemy we use minerals of metals that the Earth gives us and once cleaned from the earthy gangue, they are reduced in powder. Then, this powder is dissolved in a natural solvent that is the salt of the Earth and the spirit of the world, “the metal wet radical”, where they themselves are generated from and which is also the seed of Mercury, or Primeval Mercury, but not vulgar mercury or hydrargyrum. After the putrefaction, we need to carry out other working until we obtain a metallic vitrified resin, hard and fragile, but soluble in water. Then, this resin is to be put into a retort and distilled. First and foremost, during the distillation, a mercurial diaphanous spirit leaves, very volatile and penetrating. By increasing the temperature a sulphurous oil rises condensing and floating on the spirit. In the retort a charcoal remains from which, with some water, we can obtain the salt fixed. So now, we have got the three principles of metal: Mercury (Spirit of the metal), Sulphur (Soul of the metal) and Salt (Body of the metal).
