Production standards
Once harvested, the plants are sent to our production facility where they are rigorously checked for bacterial content, heavy metals and radioactivity. Only after the plants are found 
to be within the prescribed limits, are they dispatched for processing.
Our quality control continues throughout every stage of the production chain, with microbiological analysis, organoleptic examination and other tests to ensure that the active ingredient content meets the required standards.
Our use of state-of-the-art processing techniques guarantees that all the ingredients in the plants we process retain their integrity and concentration.
Our dried extracts, derived from our Spagyric-Alchemical Tinctures (referred by the Italian acronym T.S.A.), are all precisely titrated and standardised thus guaranteeing the quality of the finished product in terms of the active ingredients it contains.
At HERBOPLANET s.r.l. we label all our products clearly in a way that is most comprehensible for end-consumers and professional users, providing the following information about the content of the finished products.
1.- For products in solid form (tablets, powders), the label indicates if these consist of herb powders or dried extracts.
2.- For each ingredient, the labels states the part(s) of the plant used, its botanical name as well as its common name and, if dried extracts are used, the active plant ingredient titrated together with the titration percentage or the active ingredient content is shown. [e.g. Ingredients: dried extract (or the abbreviation
e.s.) of the root of Echinacea angustifolia (Echinacea) titrated at 4% into echinacoside or, echinacoside content: xx mg ].
3.- For liquid products in water-alcohol solution, the label always indicates the extraction ratio (R.E.), or the ratio between the plant used and the product obtained. For a TSA (Spagyric-Alchemical Tincture) the extraction ratio is 1 to 5 (R.E. 1:5), meaning that for each kilo of plant material, 4 litres of T.S.A. are produced, or for an MSA (Spagyric-Alchemical Macerate) the initial extraction ratio is 1 to 5 (R.E. 1:5), then this is diluted to a final ratio of 1 to 50.
4.- The extraction ratio is to be found right at the beginning, immediately after the word ingredients, thus emphasising that the entire product consists of ingredients with the same extraction ratio, because if this ratio were given at the end (e.g. Ingredients: alcohol, water, water-alcohol solution 1:5 of .....), the label would be less clear and leave the consumer in some doubt as to the real concentration of the product.
By following these conventions, we at HERBOPLANET s.r.l. are doing our utmost to ensure the transparency of our labelling and to demonstrate our commitment to offering our customers the most effective, 100% natural products and to providing practitioners with the best possible tools to use, according to the dictates of science and their professional judgement, while keeping costs to the minimum for all those wishing to purchase our products in the interests of their physiological well-being.

Only if the product in question passes these rigorous tests is it registered with the Italian Health Ministry, then finally, offered for sale
